Cambodia approves building of two Chinese dams

Cambodia has approved two large hydropower dams to be built with funding from Chinese companies.The two dams would be built in the southwestern province of Koh Kong.China National Heavy Machinery Corporation will spend 540 million dollars to build Stung Tatay dam which will generate 246 megawatts of power.China's Michelle Corporation will spend 496 million dollars to build Stung Russey Chrum Krom
